Digital Storytelling

Digital Storybooks

Use multimedia software to make digital story books. This instructional strategy helps with learner motivation and affect, a constructivist approach, it gives the learner ownership, there is an emotional connection that supports deep learning, and it gives an authentic voice to the learner. It is also a wonderful support for the student electronic portfolio. Learn how to use the computer and a variety of software to create multimedia rich story content.

As usual, here are the links I used in the professional development training for July 20th, 2007. I broke them down by area so they would be useful for you to use. You will find additional resources in the BlackBoard course under External Links. I did not see the need to post them twice. :-)
